Our Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures relating to the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use our services and tells you about your privacy rights and the law that protects you.
Should any client use our services, we would most certainly comply with the 7 protection principles under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) as required by the Malaysian law to protect all Malaysian’s right to personal data protection. This Act deals with personal data and focuses on regulating the processing of ‘personal data’ in commercial transactions.
The 7 PRINCIPLES OF DATA PROTECTION
We shall endeavor to adhere to the 7 Personal Data Protection Principles under section 5 (1) of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 as follows:-
1st Principle – General permission will be obtained from client before any personal data of our client is processed.
2nd Principle – Written Notice shall be given to client to inform on matters such as the data, the purpose, the source, the right to request access, and correction and any third party to whom the data may be disclosed to.
3rd Principle – Request for consent from our client if the personal data is to be disclosed for any purpose other than the purpose for which the personal data was to be disclosed at the time of collection to any party other than the abovementioned third party who already have right to access.
4th Principle – Practical security measures will be taken to prevent loss, misuse, modification, unauthorized or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or destruction of our client’s personal data.
5th Principle – With regard to retention, we shall ensure that the personal data is not kept longer than necessary and shall take all reasonable steps to ensure all personal data is permanently deleted or destroyed if it is no longer required for the purpose it was collected and to be processed.
6th Principle – With regard to data integrity, reasonable steps shall be taken to ensure any personal data is accurate, complete, not misleading and updated during retention period.
7th Principle – With regard to access, if necessary, we shall provide the client access to their personal data to correct any inaccuracy, incomplete data, misleading or outdated data during retention period.

For any company wishing to use our services,
- a) We can provide our standard Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) which is more appropriate for translation related services; or
- b) We are quite happy to have a look at our client’s NDA if it is available.
Once agreed, all NDAs signed between us and our clients are effective and binding upon signing and effective from the stated agreed date.
